On Homecoming weekend, October 2008, Colorado College inaugurated the Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center and I.D.E.A. Space (InterDisciplinary Experimental Arts), designed by Antoine Predock, with performances by aerial dance company, Project Bandaloop. Video includes montage of performances as well as workshop given by Project Bandaloop director Amelia Rudolph and dancers to Colorado College students.

This report summarizes the activities of the committees and officers of the WES Board of Managers for the year May 1, 2007 â April 30, 2008.
In 2008, seven Michigan public libraries migrated to Evergreen, an open source integrated library system developed by the George Public Library Service. The Michigan Library Consortium and Grand Rapids Public Library provided the support, training, networking, and system administration for the system. This article examines the reasons for implementing an open source system and the challenges to running and sustaining it.

Tennis coaches Perry Wright and Naren Clark -- along with student athletes Brian Thirkell, Thomas Modern, and Kelsey Smith -- talk about the Colorado College Tennis Team. In addition to being the only NCAA Division III school in Colorado, the team competes against Division I and Division II teams. Colorado College provides a unique academic, athletic and outdoor recreational experience with a focus on student success.

Athletics Director Ken Ralph speaks about the renovation and construction plans for the El Pomar Sports Center, which include a feasibility study for relocating Honnen Ice Rink. Ralph discusses the role of student health and wellness as driving forces behind the initiative. The El Pomar Foundation, which has been a long-standing supporter of health and wellness, provided the first money, but the College will rely on families, alumni, and alumnae for funding.

The Common Data Set is a standardized compilation of descriptive elements created by publishers and data providers in the higher education community to meet the external needs of the community through standard reporting. Institutions annually submit data in the standard form of the Common Data Set and have access to each other's data for comparative purposes. The CDS includes data on enrollment and persistence, admissions, academic offerings and policies, student life, tuition and fees, financial aid, faculty and class size, and degrees conferred.
