Truss include: 1 1-page typewritten letter, dated August 5, 1901, addressed “To the Boy that Receives the highest Average in Colo. College.” Signed by Chas. A. Schlotter and Milton W. Truss; 1 5-cent coin dated 1895, wrapped in a desk calendar page advertising Columbia and Hartford bicycles.
