    Historic documentation of life at the turn of the 19th century created by residents of Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1901 for the citizens of 2001. Under the direction of Louis R. Ehrich, a prominent 19th century businessman, the items were sealed in a chest which was stored in various buildings on the Colorado College campus until the official opening January 1, 2001 at the Charles Leaming Tutt Library. Contents of Ms349, Fd 133 include: 1 4-page, handwritten note, dated August 1901, giving the history of the Society of the Children of the American Revolution, locally called the James Noble Society, signed by Katherine H. Aiken Griswold (President of the Society); 1 b&w photo: “Katherine Howard (Aiken) Griswold”; 1 printed brochure “Constitution and By-laws of the National Society (of the) Children of the American Revolution”; 1 printed flyer “Pledge of Allegiance”; 2 envelopes addressed “the ‘James Noble Society’ of the Children of the American Revolution by the President Mrs. Katherine Howard Aiken Griswold.”
